I tried those places 3 times just to give them a chance. What is the draw? There are so many good local bars and restaurants that have better food and beer selection.

A legal, local, busness wants to open and create numerous jobs. I have absolutely no problem with this. Not everyone goes to the latest "foodie" place.

Are these protesters willing to pay a sur-tax to make up for the lost property tax to the local governments?

These people need to relax. Its only a Buffalo Wild Wings. Every time I have been in various Buffalo Wild Wings around the metro I only see families and mellow people in the bar/restaurant. Nothing bad is going to happen.

They tossed a cupcake bakery! Obviously this not about something more than neighbors being concerned. I question their motives and suspect skulduggery.

Maybe they can offer elite foodies chicken tartare and hipsters PBR. They simply don't like the place because it is not elite enough for their personal lifestyle. I personally support the LOCAL St. Louis Park based company.

News flash: When you live near a commercial district near a prominent college, you shouldn't be surprised if a legitimate, thriving business opens that caters to a college crowd. The griping neighbors sound like they have too much sense of self-importance and too much time on their hands. They should be glad it's not a Hooters moving in.
