Screw the 10 Mill I would Take Deduno's floating fatball any day over Capps..I mean Corria,s flat ass bp fastball...what the hell was Ryan thinking...200 plus sucky innings a year..he is our guy..And while I am bitching..why don't they give a career more than a strikeout an inning guy in Slama a chance rather than a career I give up big hits at big moments guy like Swarzak...I don't get it..I guess I'm not a genius like Gardy and Mr. bottom of the barrel Ryan.

Lucky for Deduno, Gardy and Andy will get him back to mediocrity in no time.

Boy sure glad that brilliant mind Terry Ryan thinks are starting rotation is going to be good. I am only a fan and looking at that rotation I was really concerned we would stink, but Ryan has me convinced we will be okay.

Nice to see that Correia, in particular, Worley and Pelfrey don't need to earn a spot in the rotation. Amazing!

After Pelfrey's poor outing in a minor league game Thursday, maybe he's not ready and should open season on the DL and make a few starts in Rochester. That would open a spot Deduno, De Vries or Hendricks. Deduno has great stuff and maybe he's finally found it. To pitch as well as he did with that competition and pressure is a huge plus in his development.

I say give Deduno a spot in the rotation and see how he does. For one thing, he can actually strike people out. One of my Yankee fan friends said the problem with the Twins is over time all their guys pitch alike. He's right. Give the opposition a different look--Deduno's ball really moves.

Of course all the Twins pitchers pitch alike. The Twins Way. Right down the middle. Keep our fielders on their toes. The hell with strikeouts.
