I think they should cut Wednesday so that you don't have 2 days in a row without mail. Although with the amount of mail that I get that I care about, I'd be able to get by with delivery once a week.

Before anyone goes and blames their trouble on the requirement to prefund their retirement benefits, keep in mind they lost $16 billion last year. The funding requirement is only $5 billion.

But the retirement requires that my 2 year old grandchild's child be funded in 2013. Does it make any sense that the USPS should be required to fund reirement 75 years in advance?

All my important mail comes via e-mail. The stuff in my mail box is mostly junk that goes right into the recycling bin. Its an electronic world and the USPS and their union needs to realize this and their business model needs to change with the times. Expenses need to be cut and some people won't be working anymore.

I think even if they cut delivery on days that end with a y, these boneheads would lose dough.

The way I see is that the Post Office needs to cut their expenses and should they have to fund out 75 years? Really?? I think the GOP just wants to make this a private contracted enterprise that can be run better by their fellow conspiritor. Why not stop Sat Deliveries. I think that's a great idea.

How about everyone enjoying "WRITING" real hand written letters and mailing them to a loved one or a friend etc.? Penmanship has a way of truly showing emotion. Try it you may really like it.
