It should be noted that Syria has never signed the Chemical Weapons Convention, available at the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW). One hundred sixty-five nations have signed it, including the USA.
In order to get to the facts of the matter of anyones use of chemical weapons in Syria, Pres Obama should check with Bush and Cheney. That way the US can be sure to use the best, most verifible source available! Their source of intel re the existence of wmd in Iraq worked out well for us!
In other news, the Obama Administration has reported that the various reports of Russian Fighters and Nuclear Bombers circling American overseas island bases could as easily be Santa Claus scouting for December 2013.
Obama has said since the beginning of this conflict that chemical weapon use is crossing the line and would not be tolerated in Syria. Therefore the fact they are using them will NEVER be acknowledged by the Obama administration.
rykytr, excuse me, but there will be physical evidence of their use, which can be verified by several different means. No one will be able to say it didn't happen. Why would we not acknowledge it? The man explicitly said if the regime uses them it will be a game changer.
