This offense is relying on Plouffe more than anyone wants to admit. If Trevor stumbles, there will be a lot more pressure on Dozier, Florimon, Hicks and Parmalee. That could lead to a huge black hole of offensive futility between the 7-8-9-1-2 spots. I'm still wondering which Trevor Plouffe we're going to see...bottom line is he needs ABs, let's get some work in today boys!

Agree with Sportcity.....Plouffe needs to be healthy, because there is not anyone else to step up there.....sad to say, but it is what it is right now.....

The 2013 Twins are going to have trouble scoring runs, and even more trouble preventing them.

The only proven, solid hitters in the lineup are Doumit; Mauer; Morneau; and Willingham. Dozier, Florimon, Hicks, Parmelee and Plouffe are all either non-entities or unproven.

Unless Hicks has an OBP of .350 plus, this team will steal about 22 bases.
