New report says teachers union spent second largest amount to lobby legislators.

Unfortunately disclosure numbers don't include all influence money spent by the Chamber/Business Partnership/Coalition of Minnesota Business because they have 527 money that is spent essentially "under the table". The relationship between these groups is incestual. Influence money needs to be out of public policy or 100% disclosed.

Businesses overall don't do that much lobbying, if you take out a few special interest groups like insurance, tobacco and the Vikings. How much did all labor groups combined give directly to candidates campaigns?
