After the Conan fiasco how can Fallon take this seriously? Leno is far to ego driven to just quit and NBC is not going to let go one of its only real ratings cash cows. What drivel.....

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler should do the tonight show!

Fallon?! You certainly don't need much of a resume to get a talk show these days. How did an unfunny no-talent from SNL get this far?

I never liked Fallon on SNL, but he has come into his own as a late night talk show guy (where cracking up at your own bits is more charming than in sketch comedy). He has original skits and a whole lot of musical talent that is now properly showcased. NBC had the right idea to replace Leno when the reigns were unceremoniously yanked from Conan's (funnier) hands.

NBC will never learn. Jimmy Fallon is such a fawning, phony host, he practically foams at the mouth trying to compliment guests. Fallon will never draw the rating that Leno has.

Fallon is not "moving to NY" as you headline screams. Fallon is already in NY. He will remain there.

reggf- speaks the truth. Further- there will never be another Carson/McMahon.. NBC is waiting for them to walk back in the door and it ain't gonna' happen. Their talents come along only once in a lifetime. Poehler and or Fey though could have the same impact and would be awesome!

i agree with other posters here: Fallon just isn't that funny. i've tried watching his show and it's painful. what's wrong with the leadership at NBC?

Ricky Gervais should host a late night show where no respect is shown for show business and no genuine plugs and promo is given. This would be the most popular show in the time slot.
