Quote from article; 'A similar measure passed both houses in 2006 but was vetoed by Gov. Jim Doyle....' The article failed to mentioned that Jim Doyle was a democrat. The democrats are essentially controlled by two groups; unions and trial lawyers, two huge donors to the good 'ole democrats. The trial lawyers are against this bill because they want the freedom to use each and every statement against the doctor or clinic. It doesn't matter whether or not this bill makes sense; the democrats will do whatever favors the trial lawyers.

Despite what the masses believe, medicne is not an exact science. A drug, medical device, surgery, etc., may work well for Person-A and fail on Person-B. The treat of litigation in this litigeous societ is frequently why over testing is done. In other word, "I have seen the enemy and it is us!"

A trusted doctor, who has performed several ortho surgeries on my family members, just blew a diagnosis and missed bone cancer in my mother. I called the office and told them I was seriously unhappy with Doc. I know that because Doc cannot admit he missed it, I will never get an answer. I would even appreciate something along the line of, "I'll make an effort to do better." But doing so admits blame, and he cannot do that. I understand it, but it makes me sad.
