With all due respect to the lost troops and their families, what is the point of this jumble of an article? From the multiple 'authors' listed from multiple states, it is clear that the reason is that this hodge-podge is a journalism student class project. Yet, remembering all those troops who have died in battle over the past ten years in this fools errand of an unwinnable conflict, I must shake my head that more attention is paid by the AP to persons who died in this training accident, than to all those bravely wounded or KIA in battle. As usual, unless describing rescuing a wounded troop, today's media is loath to describe brave acts in battle, lest they "glorify war." Bah!
