Dumbest proposed NFL rule change to date. Might as well put velcro flags on belts, or maybe just touch football. Let's make earning millions of dollars while playing a game totally risk-free and boring.

I think this rule is great, this levels the playing field between offense and defense. So many of the "safety" rules seem to be designed to hobble the defense. Either make the rules apply equally to both sides of the ball, or cancel the rules.

Hoimanggg - my thought's exactly - hang flags on them and let them pirouette down the field while slapping hands away.

Ted Thompson probably came up with the idea. No need to worry in Green Bay, no one runs hard enough.
