"Oh, yeah! Well if they're not going to sponsor the Boyscouts, we aint gonna eat at Chipotle." I can hear it already. Good for Chipotle!

Good for Chipotle! I've never patronized the place, but I will now--glad they've got the courage to stand up against inequality and the bigots that support it.

I sent the following mesage to CMG in response to this article: I was deeply saddened to learn of Chipotle's decision to hatefully terminate its sponsorship from a Boy Scout event because of BSA's policy of not furthering any sexuality - heterosexual or homosexual - in its leadership or membership, as it has done since its founding 100 years ago. Scouting is a voluntary organization of boys and parents whose aim is higher than sexual matters of any kind. There is no right to Scouting. There is room in America for a diversity of opinion and belief, even though it appears you insist that everybody march in lockstep with your hard-line politics. If Chipotle believes that Scouting is such a danger to our country that it must withhold sponsorship until BSA submits to your particular brand of political dogma, then I cannot in good conscience patronize such a craven, bullying company any longer. And i shall strongly and energetically encourage members of my community -- school, church, Scout troop, service organizations, friends and neighbors -- to join me standing up to your narrow-minded, hate-driven, shockingly neo-fascistic company. Shame on you. Your community, employees and shareholders deserve much better.

Everybody has their issue and it is arrogant to think that because some other person or organization doesn't agree with you that they are wrong. This is America people, and unless everybody gets on the same page and remembers that we're all headed in the same direction. Honestly, who do you think you are, pushing others around because they don't see things your way...you're the bully. Call me crazy because, if I am not; that means you are.

TwinsGophs, et al. Thank you very much for the laugh this morning. It is just what I needed to get my morning off on the right food. As for those of you who claim that Chipotle is going to lose customers...Think again. They just gained two for every one they lost.

Chipotle is following their company policy of not duing any kind of business with an organization that is discriminatory - - which the Boy Scouts are when they are banning gay leaders and scouts. Thanks Chipotle
