It's so nice to stick it to Vancouver in our last divisional meeting. They boys are looking great. They just need to keep believing that they can play this way and good things will continue to happen. I didn't think I'd say it before this season but I'm thinking Cullen and Backstrom have earned new contracts. Neither has shown signs of slowing down and are still contributing. Keep em around for the Cup run.

Some clown said on here "well they haven't won three in a row" well they have now.

Time for so called reporters (cough) like this one to stop the diving innuendo. Truth be told Minnesota will miss the Canucks far more than Vancouver will miss watching the Wild. Truth be told most of the time people in Vancouver would rather watch paint dry. It's more entertaining than the clogging, boring hockey Wild fans have been forced to endure since a team was put back in your lovely state. Good riddance.

Everybody jump on the Wild bandwagon! The Canucks are a team trending down for the next four to five years. When you have a 5' 9'' American center on your team you will be finishing at the bottom. We still need more mojo up front. Trade Mikko, Heater, Granlund, and one minor league goalie for that player and draft picks. They will want to come to the Wild because of what is happening. Vanek time.

april24. Backstrom gotta go for two reasons- cost and consistency. We have goalies. We need more power forwards.

The Wild have never come back from a 3-0 deficit in the playoffs. It was 3-1, as they split the first two in Vancouver.

I'm glad the NHL is re-aligning, but the rivalry with Vancouver has been pretty fun. I'll miss it.

Outstanding win last night! Big time win for the Wild. Things are really clicking right now but with that said, a two or three game skid and they can wind up looking up at 8th place so the boys really need to keep their foot on the gas. As far as bringing back guys for next season here's my two cents: Cullen has earned a two-year deal (but not at $3.25 million per season!). He can be plugged into either the 2nd or 3rd line and he can be a PP specialist too. I'd bring him back. PMB...nice guy but its time to let him go on his way. Backstrom...this one is really tough only because Backs has been so solid and willing to play so much but with the salary cap going down next season the team is going to have to ask him to take a pretty serious haircut in terms of salary and as someone else said, the Wild have them some goaltenders. Perhaps Hackett will get a chance to show us if he's the real deal on Wednesday against the Wings.

Igor, spoken like a true fan that is watching his team trend downward...
