Rand: Vikings have done well shopping for Packers

The most obnoxious Packers fans (and they really don’t represent the entirety or even majority of the fan base) vented on Twitter late last week about Greg Jennings, calling him a “looser” (loser) or “trader” (traitor) and, well, much worse.

Saying Rodgers may be the best ever is more than a stretch. That being said he is definitely top 5 QB playing today. I think all the Vikings fans are forgetting that Jennings is a product of that elite arm. Jennings in and of himself doesn't bring that much to a football team. Couple that with a weak QB and I don't see how this big signing means much. Still the Vikings have to be lauded for winning a lot this past season with very little from the QB position. It would be almost impossible for them to have that many wins next season without considerably better QB and WR production. I'm telling you now if the Vikings don't bring in a good QB in a couple of years from now everyone will be hating on Jennings. More than likely Jennings lack of production in his upcoming Viking career will be beyond his control. These are my predictions. I'm no schwammy but it's an educated guess.

If you bozos would draft better you wouldn't have to pay 9 million for a receiver worth about 5. This franchise is the laughingstock of the league.

It is so incredibly funny to see Packer fans tell anyone who will listen that they did not want Jennings. That must be news to Ted Thompson who offered Jennings 8 million per to play for the Green and Gold. Keep stacking 8 and 9 boys that just leaves two to catch Kyle, Greg, Jarius, and Jerome.

Don't forget Jan Stenerud and perhaps the all-time greatest steal from the Packers, Bucky Scribner.
