Vikings get approved for league financing package

PHOENIX – The Vikings received big news on the financial front at the NFL’s annual meeting on Monday, gaining approval for the league’s G4 financing program, a plan that enables franchises building new stadiums to receive what is essentially a fully guaranteed loan from the league.

The nfl made 9 billion last year. 200 million is approximately 2 percent of that 9 billion. Lets not make these people out to be mother Teresa.

Lets see, out of 32 NFL teams.....we should be getting approximately 3 percent. We're lucky to get that being it is minnesota

I have to wonder if some people "get it" or not. Why should the NFL help retired players? How many businesses today give their retired folks MORE than they retired with? By the way, the answer is NONE. Besides SSI which gives raises there are NO other companies who increase benefits to retired workers. When the NFL players retired they were happy with their benefits. But todays players want the teams to increase retired players benefits. If it means SOOO much to them, THEY (the current players) should give more of THEIR benefits to the retired players. Do you think that's going to happen? Hahahaha.
