And I've got some swamp land for sale in Florida too. UCLA only has to say BOO! to a Tubby Smith coach team and they'll fold like a cheap suit.

I agree truth is Minnesota or Illinois did not deserve a bid especially losing 11 of last 16 games for Minnesota Tubby won 5 games in over 2 months. They only took these 2 teams to prove how strong the big ten is and to be honest I fear a melt down for the big ten teams as they are overrated. As a gopher fan I fear all this bid did for us was secure Tubbys job for another few years.I hope I am wrong.

big whoop. when the Gophers match St Thomas' success in NCAA play, let me know. Till then, they are nothing but a bunch of overhyped underperformers.

I am a gopher fan and I don't like myself much because I want them to lose. Been dissapointed to many times and I really beleive anything good for Tubby is bad for the program.

After reading this, I hope the Gophers aren't overconfident! Let's just hope they don't embarrass themselves like when they were down 30-9 in the Purdue game, or when they went to Northwestern, or how they played in both Iowa games, or stumbled at Nebraska

Note to UCLA coach....slap a zone 2-3 defense on the Gophs and it's all over. Tubby can't seem to figure that new style defense out.

Rodney Williams needs to spend the week laying on his bed and throwing the ball up in the air. If it hits him in the face that's not good and he has to start over.

The Big10 at this point may be "the most respected conference" however after the NCCA tourney is over, you will see it was overrated..Gophies will be one and done and back to Minnie for a late March snowstorm..IF they are fortunate enough to get past UCLA,they don't have a snow ball's chance against Florida..Florida will show you what real "blue-chippers look like, what it means to have great facilities and great coaching..In the tourney you have to have a player that can take over at "crunch" time ala Bobby Jackson of years past, the Gophies don't have anyone that resembles that..Good Luck and Good Riddance

What the national press goes by is the RPI and that the Gophers beat 5 of the top twenty five teams. Want they do not know how poorly the Gophers have played since mid January. In additional how bad they played their last three games against inferior opponents, how bad the player and ball movement is, how they can't shoot three's or free throws, can't defend against threes, and has a bench the is very limited talent wise. I will be watching every minute of the game cheering the Gophers on but I know what to expect from a Tubby Smith coached team.
