Saw the press conference and Yeo seems to becoming more and more smug as the season goes one. If this team wins a couple playoff rounds, watch out; this guy's ego will become the size of Minneapolis. And his justification for starting his coach's pet, PMB, was a bit skewed. He said he'd go with the same line-up as the last two games because they looked pretty good those two games. That line-up is only different from the line-up the two games before by subbing PMB for Zucker. So, with PMB, they've beaten the last place team in the conference twice while allowing seven goals. In Zucker's two games before his injury, they beat playoff-contender Nashville and first place Vancouver, while allowing only three goals. Not only that, but the team was leading powerhouse Anaheim 1-0 when Zucker got hurt, and that injury seemed to rattle the Wild, who eventually lost. I hope this is only for showcasing PMB for a potential trade (and all you PMB lovers, he WILL be traded before the deadline), because if it's not, this move shows both Yeo's favoritism and his burgeoning ego. Zucker lit a fire under this team when he arrives; his energy fueled revivals by Cullen and Seto, which set off a chain reaction. He's that kind of player, and he'll be a star in this league. PMB...It's really sad when one player (Zucker) outplays another (PMB) and takes his spot, then the former loses his spot to the latter, only because the former got HURT! No player should EVER lose his spot in the line-up due to an injury he takes for the team. This is stupid, its arrogant on Yeo's part, and it's unjust. Can you REALLY imagine PMB playing against an Anaheim or St. Louis or a Nashville in the playoffs for seven games? He'd get killed!

The Wild need to show they're a legit team by beating good teams like Vancouver on the road. Let's see what they're made of tonight.

Wow caferev, relax. Do you know Zucker personally or something? I agree that PMB plays a timid game and that they need to trade him, but maybe Zucker, although cleared to play may need sometime, he too has had concussions in the past and I say better safe than sorry with him, he took a big hit and the last thing you want is him coming out and trying to get hit again, cause if he plays like that he will get injured again. One of the nice things with this team is that we have depth, something we have been lacking since they became a franchise. Yeo wasn't scared to bench PMB before, he'll do it again if need be.
