after "good ol" andy gets ahold of them, "new heights" means their ERA.

Truly amazing - an entire article without one reference to "pitch to contact" and "pitch count". Now if that can translate to the regular season perhaps it will be a new era and I don't mean earned run average.

There still isn't a bonafide pitcher in the group!

Who is the pitcher in the video?

There is a difference between being big and playing big. Just look at Joe Mauer as an example of a big player, who plays small.

Filler article. The only stat that matters is what the Twins pitchers' ERA is. And judging by their historical stats, we are in for a very high number.

"There still isn't a bonafide pitcher in the group"...They are trying to make a trade for Pierre Bonafide.

"Just look at Joe Mauer as an example of a big player, who plays small"...Would you prefer Loek Van Mil and Jon Rauch, who were examples of big players who played lousy.

I would rather have a CC Sabathia, or Randy Johnson, not a 23 mill. dollar slap hitter.

Do any of these guys have any college eligibility left that would be able to help the Gophers out in the NCAA tournament?
