The police should spend thir time on crimes that have been committed instead of wasting money arresting people that have done no wrong.

Most people would think that a reduction in DWI arrests is good news and would expect to see a headline and story reflecting that. These officers sound disappointed in the decline much like someone who throws out a large net but pulls in a small catch.

Increased patrols over the St. Patrick’s weekend netted dozens of drunken drivers.......... The liquor tax should be increased to cover these costs and the cost of the other problems that are a result of alcohol abuse.
