SARASOTA, FLA. – The Orioles celebrated St. Patrick’s Day by wearing green hats. The Twins celebrated Turn Back the Clock Day by getting beat by J.J. Hardy and Lew Ford.

From all my years as an educated fan, this is what I've deduced about this year's starting rotation: I expect that by June, both Pelfrey and Diamond will be solid, effective starting pitchers that give their team a chance to win every night. I believe that by then, Gibson will have figured it out and start tearing up the IL. I believe that about this time, Meyer will arrive in Rochester, as well. But Worley and Correia...Worley is a one-pitch pitcher; he'll get pummeled by AL batters. And Correia? Come June, he'll have an ERA in the 6.50 range and prove to be totally incapable of getting out AL hitters. Let's hope that Pelfrey and Diamond do what we know they can, and that Gibson and Meyer take a fast track to Minneapolis, or this might be another long, long season.

Lew Ford? I thought he'd quit baseball and was a lounge singer somewhere in the Ozarks.

Lew is a great guy. He is one of those throw backs that is actually nice to fans, JJ Hardy could have plugged into the line-up for eight years. But I guess he wasn't one of Gardy's Guys.

Worley...most video interviews there is an issue(but not his).. i like him as a 3-4 starter but unfortuantly he's gonna end up higher int the rotation..he's just GAS, no brain. gibby, diamond, may & meyer and et al...please help us..
