Thanks for wasting taxpayer money on this giant waste of time GOP! All you are doing is expediting your extinction in 2014.

Amazing how the republicans are taking the same ideas that were voted down in the last election, and doubling down on them again.

I'm with the democrats on this one. We should borrow our way to prosperity! Remember, for every dollar we spend we get 10 back!

Here is another grand idea that is going to get a lot of NO pokes: Obama and the senate democrats could follow the law and submit a budget. I know that is asking a lot, but they were elected to do a job and should either do it or get out of the way.

Can you believe this.....Under the Obama administration, we have added six trillion plus dollars to our deficit in less than four years. We are taking in about 3 billion dollars a day yet spending about 11 billion per day and these foolish Republicans want that to end......Crazy, huh.....

This is a risk for republicans. fully n55% of you pay NO Federal income taxes and in fact get wealth transfers from those of us who produce it. With 20% of the rest actually working for government, it is a risk to ask the lazy and incompetent ( who unfortunately may vote) to actually produce their own income. It's far easier for you to leech off of us.

For those of you that will not address the spending problem, you should spend 70% more than you take in at home. Let me know how that works out, you economic wizards.

• U.S. Tax revenue: $2,170,000,000,000 * Fed budget: $3,820,000,000,000 * New debt: $ 1,650,000,000,000 * National debt: $14,271,000,000,000 * Recent budget cuts: $ 38,500,000,000 Let's now remove 8 zeros and pretend it's a household budget: * Annual family income: $21,700 * Money the family spent: $38,200 * New debt on the credit card: $16,500 * Outstanding balance on the credit card: $142,710 * Total budget cuts: $385 Get the picture yet? Oh, and Obama's shiny new 'tax on the wealthy': $800. Nuff said.

"Remember, for every dollar we spend we get 10 back" -- are you referring to red states collecting tax money from blue states? .................... "For those of you that will not address the spending problem, you should spend 70% more than you take in at home" -- I think plenty do... between student loans, mortgages, uncovered(for now) medical expenses.. I'm curious how many of the "balanced budget" crowd have any debt in mortgages, student loans, car loans, credit cards, etc.

dogman, there are acceptable budgets, and there are Obama budgets. Do you have any concept of 16 TRILLION DOLLARS......and if youre spending 70% more than you take in, you are bankrupt.
