Dahlman isn't near the player I expected to see going to this game for the match-up between the two players. She didn't even attempt to run back on on defense more times than I have fingers. She stayed on her offensive end and waved for the ball after NRHEG's offensive plays ended. Other times she half-heartedly ran back, trailing the rest of her team and the opposition. Dahlman's standard play set included a forearm push-off at the start of the play and drama at the end, often with an acting school flop at the end. Dahlman openly complained about calls on the court, following a referee around as she verbally whined. All the while Wagner settled her team down, kept her composure, made every conceivable move, did not complain, and hustled every single play. There was no comparison and no question who was Miss Minnesota Basketball. Don't believe me? I live in neither district and just look at last year's NRHEG 75-45 thrashing of Braham in the state quarterfinals and then watch the tapes from this year's game. Simple conclusion: Diva Dahlman was schooled by Champion Carlie. Again.
