The person who benefitted the most from all three signings has to be quarterback Christian Ponder.

Sid - nice spin on T-Wolf season tickets. 200 new ones. Okay, now tell us the rest of the story: how many current season ticketholders did not renew for next year? The facts, Sid, all the facts. In other words, try some real reporting.

$498 million in public subsidies for the new stadium should provide ample funds to pay a few free agents. The recent Atlanta Falcons deal with the State of Georgia provided $200 million in public funds for their new billion dollar stadium. Well done MN Politicians.

Sid, the Vikes are still WELL under the cap max. I hope the Wilfs don't pocket extra taxpayers cash like the Pohlads.

Sure, Sid - it's all about location with Gavin. It has nothing to do with the train wreck Tubby's team has become once again, does it? Same thing with Tyus Jones. Not a chance anyone of their caliber is going to commit to the U until your close personal friend Tubby is shown the door and we find someone who knows what to do when the opponent plays Zone.

"The signing of Loadholt means the offensive line that protected him so well last year will return intact" wait, what? that line didn't pass block well till the last 5 games... So hopefully they can pick up where they left off. Loadholt at 6.25 mil to run block is overpaying by quite a bit

Sid, how come you have not mentioned the Gopher women's hockey team amd their undefeated season, 5 straight shutouts? If it were the men's team, there would not be enough memory in your computer to hold all the superlatives you would be saying about them. Now I remember why you haven't...you have never liked women's athletics!! Personally, I think readers would like some mention of women's athletics, especially, when a team goes undefeated. You have taken the time to mention Bob Knight and his undefeated Indiana basketball team (which was before alot of your readers were born) so spend the same amount of ink on the current undefeated Gopher women's team.

Happy Birthday Sid and great scoop on Harvin!...Time for Jor Webb to start catching passes instead of throwing them. If he really is the athlete the experts tell us he is, he should easily be able to help the Vikings at wide- out.

Sid a belated Happy Birthday. I knew you when. However, Coach Kill has again shown he cannot recruit. We lose too many players to teams just across the borders of Minnesota. Both directions. And also to the South. He cannot recruit. You may yell how great he is from your high post. He flat out cannot coach and recruit. He cannot drive to even visit Minnesota recruits who channel their direction to Wisconsin and the two states to the west. Get rid of no-coach Kill.

The vikings may claim they spend money in free agency but the end result on the field continues to be a joke at best!!! 54 years without a Super Bowl / World Championship is embarrassing to say the least and has become the viking's identity around the league.
