"No respect to Bill Smith, because he was in the regime, too, but Terry becoming the full-time GM again had a lot to do with this." BALLFOUR: Probably means "no disrespect." But given what Bill did to the franchise...

Please don't talk about Twins Baseball. Pitching to contact, no hr power, tiny payrolls, doing things the right way(as if every other team does it the wrong way). That hasn't gotten us very far the past 20+ years.

Back when the Twins were fun to watch. Mientkiewicz had a great glove at first base. Speaking of A.J., why the heck do people boo him when he plays here? Makes zero sense.

Glad to hear he'd take AJ as a bench coach, that would be a smart move. AJ plays hard and plays well. I never understood the over the top hate for him. He never said anything bad about the Twins. Not his fault he was traded. I wish the Twins still had him, they could use a guy with some attitude.

Doug M, Nice to have you back. Also, that is a pretty impressive resume you have put together over the years. A lot to be proud of.

Wow, Mr. Souhan, you did a great job with this article about my fav TWIN who so long ago left our team to finally get his ring. You need to be writing more articles like this so that I can read you. Welcome back, Doug. You were missed. Nice to read your comments about A.J. I've missed him too. Not that I think his replacement isn't a very special ballplayer, I loved the way you both played the game of baseball. Now teach that to the younger guys "down there". Go TWINS
