"Bachmann did not stray from her past positions" and as a former GOP member, there is the rub. She was not alone as I listened to every other speaker say the exact same thing. "We need to stop being the party of no, and need to change to attract a more diversified electorate." And then the same old rhetoric, blame the president, blame the 47%, blame anybody who draws a breath begins.
The fact that Trump got invited and Christie did not, speaks volumes about the new republican party. I saw the poll results and honestly could not vote for any one of them that parrot the republican tea party message, but I could vote for someone who speaks his own mind and doesn't give a damn about lobbyists; Christie.
"And she touted government-backed medical research such as the polio vaccine and said the government isn't doing enough to fight diseases such as diabetes and Alzheimer's." We've got too much government, we don't have enough government. Make up your mind.
If it walks like a nutcase, and talks like a nutcase...
All the same loony tunes characters.
Just when you thought you were waking from a bad dream, she's baaaack!
She tried to show that the Obama's were living extravagantly because the White House expenses were $1.5 billion. So much for research because that's exactly the same as it was in 2008. But when you need meat to throw to the hyenas to keep them laughing any fact in the wrong context works.
Stay at the forefront of sensible politics MS. Bachmann. America needs more leaders like you. Thank you for carrying the torch of freedom for so many of us. Your comments reported here were spot on. Well done!
Isn't this the same Bachmann who complained about the government and its role in creating vacinations to fight various health problems? Ms Bachmann how much leading have you done during your decade or so in Washington? What important legislation have you proposed and or gotten passed? You might be better off learning what leadership is before criticizing others' leadership skills since you routinely demonstrate a lack of any skills that are beneficial to the people in your district.
