Here's the deal. If republicans want cuts to entitlements they will have to specifically say in public what they want cut. Republicans, on the other hand, want the president to publicly say what he will specifically cut so they can then blame him for the cuts they themselves actually are demanding. If republicans are so intent on cuts then man up and say exactly what you want cut. Then propose or ask the president what specific concessions on tax reform will close loopholes, safe havens, and subsidies to increase revenue. Then say here is the bargain we offer the American people. If it's balanced in that way I would vote republican in 2014 if the president and dems wouldn't take that deal. OH, and get out of the social engineering business too.

0bama has added more debt than all previous Presidents combined. 20 million more people are on food stamps. We are on the wrong path.

Obama has NEVER offered any cuts. He just wants MORE money to spend for more vote buying. Only ONE party is willing to make the tough decisions that the country needs. Yeah, it might hurt in the beginning, but in the long run, Obama's plans will lead to disaster. Look at Europe for the direction Obama is bringing us. Forced massive cuts are coming!

"0bama has added more debt than all previous Presidents combined.".... "Obama has NEVER offered any cuts" -- I live in a world where the sky is blue. I also live in a world that is fact-based. A world where 6 is less than 10. A world where frequently does not equal NEVER. It's odd that some see opening up a program to help more needy people is a sign of failure, not a sign of leadership. Especially when those people overwhelmingly reside in republican counties. Seventy percent of counties with the fastest growth in food stamp aid during Bush's last term voted for McCain. Red states overwhelmingly rely on government programs and blue state tax dollars to survive. Yet republicans continue to push legislation that exacerbates their situation. It's just mind-numbingly foolish.
