Minnesotan's 'Jeopardy!' streak ends

Drew Horwood, a Maple Grove native who fought his way into “Jeopardy!” history, lost Friday after eight straight victories.

I watched all the episodes Drew was on from the beginning...he is a terrific and personable young man, as well very smart (to stay on Jeapardy for 8 days would qualify him as a genius in my book!) and I had cheered him on from the very beginning, at first because he was "one of ours" from Minnesota but after that I just wanted him to keep on winning! Good job, Drew, and congratulations. You deserve every dime!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a wonderful job, Drew. My 83 year parents watch every day and let me know about you. I am very proud of you,too. Congratulations! You made Minnesota proud!

Fairly ironic this Cargill employee missed a question on grain (winnowing Drew!) that cost him the game. Best of luck Drew in the tournament of champions later this year.
