why does that HAPLESS Gopher basketball team get the lead over the Wild? Get with it strib writers...this is the sport's story...forget the Gophers forget them...underachievers again...they got 40 shots on goal tonight and when you get that many you score....often...keep it up Wild and you'll keep on winning...

Great game tonight! Wasnt real impressed with PMB. Faulk might as well pack his bags for Houston. Nice fluttering knuckleball for their first goal. Brodin scored! Suter makes playing defense look so easy! Good to see the guys sticking up for each other. Should be a good game Saturday, when the Wild take another 2 points from them! I really miss Zanon, he played well tonight (OMG, time to hang it up beardy.)

Really nice to see a team give up a poor goal (fluttering puck) and get right back on track and score another goal!! Last years team would seemingly give up, not the current roster!! Now lets see this effort continue on the road! Give "old man Backstrom" a game off. He reacts like a tired goalie. Go Wild!!!!

a little punch up= a win. The wild need to be much more aggressive...on the offensive side, d side and fist side. Im not saying fight all the time, but when i've seen punches thrown we win.

@halybird...so you're equating dropping the gloves to wins? why how shallow can you get...lots more to hockey than "dropped gloves" lots more you won't catch me screaming and cheering at those fights...I can't wait till there over and we can get on with the rest of the game...it's a distraction for me...

Lots of fun tonight. Just hope Zucker is back in action on the second line come Saturday; Butch is no replacement for the kid, and I can only imagine what that second line could've done tonight had he been healthy and there. I'm sure I'll get thumbs down from every Butch lover, telling me he had an assist tonight and we should all lay off. Sure, an assist that Cullen totally earned him, and that despite, what, five or six turnovers and more tip-toeing through the tulips in an attempt to avoid any contact? Ugh. No more PMB this year. Pleeeeeasse!

PMB will be gone by season's end. The kid has suplanted him. More speed, not afraid of contact and controls the puck.

Still can't believe Sid's not a Wild fan. Come on Sid...Wild's short/ten year history is alot better than TWolves first 10. I mean how is the NBA still in Minnesota?

lindy: you will only have to put up with the gophers for one more game; guaranteed.
