Yes John, George W. Bush found the WMD's, the recession never officially started during the Bush second term and Saddam conspired with Al Qaeda. Additionally, Mitt Romney revealed all his tax returns, offshore holdings in the Caymans and Switzerland and never disrespected 47% of Americans. And, Romney's running mate Paul Ryan never wanted to end Medicare, end Medicaid, end Social Security, end Pell Grants and coddle the wealthy with continued tax cuts. That's right John, its not about the GOP platform...Or is it?

The Republican budget "would repeal the president’s health insurance exchanges and expansion of Medicaid but retain cuts to Medicare. It would maintain the level of taxation secured by tax increases on the wealthy in the January deal to resolve the so-called fiscal cliff. But it also says the top tax rate should fall to 25 percent from 39.6 percent, with the cost offset by eliminating undisclosed tax deductions, credits and loopholes. And it assumes the repeal of Obama’s Wall Street regulatory bill. Medicaid, food stamps and other programs for the poor would be cut significantly, part of $4.6 trillion in cuts through 2023." “The budget is an opportunity to lay out your priorities, what your party believes in,” Boehner said. Does Boehner seriously believe this budget reflects the priorities of average Americans? Can you say "out of touch?"

Cut the top income tax rate to 25%???? And then balance the budget? You know who will be taking it in the shorts with this plan... the poor, the middle class, the elderly, the ill, the disabled, children, students, minorities and women. The rest of us will make out like bandits!

Like the old saying, "Don't smooth the road, just drive the horses harder!" This plan of the Republicans gets more and more bizarre.

Yeah... everything that's happened in the last 10 years? Turn it around and blame it on dems, and that's the current GOP platform. (not that this post will ever make it past the strib's censorship squad.)

The GOP will not win even with a pennyless minority as a candidate unless thier platform changes to stuff for free. The last election proved the takers now out number the givers, until the Governement totally implodes, which isnt far off, it will be this way for awhile.
