Well, I guess they can forecast flooding like they used to. When it warms up, there will be flooding - mostly along rivers and small streams, just like happens every spring. There, forecast done.

Dont worry, Im here for you. If you live near a river or streat that tends to flood, keep an eye on it, and remember the more snow we get, the more rain we get, and how fast the melt occurs will effect potential flooding situations. Youre all alright, and I just saved us taxpayers a few billion of our dollars. Youre welcome.

More doom and gloom. The sequester happened and the world continued to spin despite what Obama and his spinmeisters said.

I think I can tell when the water's rising and when it's falling. It seemed to work for the past 10,000 years and now Obama says that only he can tell you that information?

99% of the time the gauges don't do a thing. Budget your man hours for the critical spring time floods. Cut your budget next fall when it isn't critical. If this doesn't show how f ing stupid our government employees are and how they manage their departments. Cut 20% next year and I mean a real budget cut not a partial reduction in increased spending. If they cannot be on the job 100% at the most important times then they should all be fired.

I predict flooding in Fargo along the Red River this year. There you go!

So, go ahead and complain about this tiny decrease in government spending! Obama proposed it and his fail to lead saw it happen. No excuses - 100% Obama.
