Who ever believes the left wing rhetoric "its all for the kids", I have a bridge to sell you. They simply can't come up with anything else, really????

Maybe before they raise any taxes they should stop spending $80,000 per special needs student and make sure that all state employees are put on the health care exchange.

If systemic waste, bloat and fraud we not so easily identifiable and availble for cutting I might agree with this. Until you cut the waste, bloat and fraud forget about askng MN Taxpayers to fork over more money.

Just set an income limit for school vouchers. If wealthy people want to send their kids to private schools then they shouldn't get vouchers.

What is the state up to now in per pupil spending, $10,000-12,000? So much like the question of raising taxes on anyone and everything, when will it be enough? When we are spending $50,000 per pupil? And when they still have low test score we will need to increase that even more? And like another comment, do my children really need an iPad in school to learn?

Dayton now realizes that there are not enough minnesota millionaiires to supply the DFL spending addiction and has therefore lowered the bar so that "weathly" now describes people making $125K. When they discover that this is not enough the DFL will redefine "weathly" as $100K, then $80K, then $40k and keep lowering the bar but will never, ever consider cuts to spending.
