The Pacers were just too big for the Wolves, who found out Kevin Love won’t be back any time soon.

They shouldn't play him at all anyway the rest of the year. Let him completely heel take another high draft choice and get ready for next year.

If KLove is evaluated in three weeks, on April 3rd, and is cleared to practice he will need at least a week of practice before he plays. If his first game was a week later on April 10th he would be able to play 5 games. Shut him down ... why hurry him along for 5 meaningless games at the end of the season when his shot and his timing are going to be completely off. Hopefully the Wolves will show good judgement and tell him he's done for the year.

I liked Steamer's play. He's got some game and can block, alter, and dissuade players from attempting shots in the paint. Johnson also has blocking, altering, and dissuading ability. Pek would have had his shot blocked three times tonight, and he wouldn't have blocked or altered anyone's shot. Plus, he would have been outjumped again and again, and been forced to pass the ball back out to the wings because another rejection was waiting for him. (A lot of his points this season have been are garbage points.) Most NBA teams have a defensive oriented center who can block shots, rebound, and set screens. Hibbert is one of the few who has both a legit offensive and defensive game. Nobody else comes to mind other than Howard and Lopez for the Nets. We need defensive athleticism at the five, and Steamer and Johnson provide us with that. Perhaps we could trade Pek and get some help at the three, where we actually need somebody who can score. AK is not the answer, though he's a solid reserve. Budinger? I don't know; IMO, he's also a reserve. Maybe he could play some two behind Shved. Even with an entirely healthy squad, at best, this is a one and done playoff team. We need more athleticism and speed if the objective is to get out of the first round. And we desperately need a three who can fill up the basket. Gibele (sp?) seems quite content to simply run up and down the court, play some defense and pass the ball on offense. Go Nuggets!

Sit Love down for the season. And pray he doesn't do any more stupid things to hurt himself in the offseason.

Maybe Love will give the Wolves a free extra year on his contract for missing most of the season...

Williams is a puzzle, that maybe this team doesn't have time to put together anymore, he shows up strong in the first quarter or so then just fades away, puzzling. I do believe we need more long and strong bodies, like the pacers have, and like most other teams have actually. Johnson needs work, but he does have ability, I think he would be a plus to keep around. Shevd needs some D league time to get his game back.

Ox - Kind of weird you'd suggest the last guy off the bench Johnson needs work but should stay in the NBA while the second guard off the bench Shved needs work but should be sent to the D-league. The last thing we need this season is less guards.

I looked up the word disaster in the dictionary and there was a picture of the T-wolves mascot!
