What we got through free agents pitcher signings are nothing but a joke.I can hardly wait for the beginning of major league baseball,so we can all see once and for all how the Twins fans have been fleeced once again.Ownership has this kiss-my-ass-attitude,and really care less want the fans want or deserve.Stay tuned folks it's going to be a very long season of baseball in Minnesota.

Terry Ryan paid $10 million for Correia. How could the cheapest GM in baseball think that this was a good decision? Pay more and get at least one strong starter so we at least have a chance. I'm sorry that baseball players make so much money but he needs to either pay the going rate for someone good or give the job to someone younger who understands that times have changed. We have needed a #1 and a # 2 starter for the last three years (including this year) but he continues to go out and sign #4 and #5 guys and then he is surprised that the Twins have lost more games in baseball than any other team not in Houston over these years. You only have a new stadium for a few years and you only have two MVPs in their prime for a few years too and he decides to build up the farm system now and not spend money on the major league team. What a shame because I predict huge years by Mauer and Morneau this year and if he could have added a top starter (Grienke would have been nice for example) and a top middle infielder, the team could win the division.

The Twins have spent money foolishly for years. They always seem to overpay for trash instead of finding solid players to spend the money on. In the end, it is a case of less bang for the buck.
