There is always going to be a "reason" why this guy can't perform. I'm sure he misses his two buddies Scott Baker and Slowey to console him when he fails. Good riddance.

Good to hear things are looking up in Blackie's personal life. Sure he was a bum the last few years on the mound, but there's no reason to wish him ill-will when it comes to his family. I hope all goes well in that area for him.

He's only around because the Twins are too cheap to cut him. He has ZERO trade value.

Hopefully Blackburn has all that stuff behind him now, and can give the Twins some quality innings needed....Its time for him to step up and become the ACE of this staff.....enough is enough........

Nick, best of health for your family and career. You can come back and be productive for the Twins.

Glad to hear his wife's doing well. What is it with Twins having twins around here?

Say it isn't so! This guy is a proven rag arm.

aphlol, he's under contract. too cheap to cut him? what does that even mean? I really hate when pro athletes make these types of comments. "I'll have to play as long as I can with 4 kids." He's making 5 MILLION dollars this season. That's more than a lot of people make their entire lives.

If the Twins released him and he had success elsewhere, the second-guessers would cry, "How could the stupid Twins let him go?"
