Zucker skates lightly after hit to head, Perry suspended for illegal check

In what coach Mike Yeo called a “really good sign,” Wild rookie Jason Zucker took the ice in a track suit after the team’s optional practice Wednesday.

What a lousy cheap shot hit. Perry should be suspended for more games. Sorry, but that stuff doesn't belong in Pro Hockey or anywhere else.

No practice? Sorry, but these guys are professional athletes and I don't think a "light" practice that included work on the power play would have been to much to ask. So the fact that they didn't feel like practicing hardly serves as a ringing endorsement for 20 or so guys that are interested in accomplishing anything........not sure yet, but I might just be a little too tired to watch the Avs take it to these guys tonight.

I'm good with Corey Perry getting four games. Folks should know that superstars like Perry rarely get hit with suspensions of any length so take the four games as a sign that Brendan Shanahan understands what a vicious hit it was. Jason Zucker will likely return to the lineup by the time Perry's suspension runs out and that, to me, is fair enough. Hopefully Zucker won't change his game at all and will continue to play strong along the boards, use his speed and his talent and will continue to get to the net before defenders do.
