This guy sounds like he could be a truely great pope, not based on what he's said, but on what he's done and how this article says he's lived his life. Finally an election where it looks like the people won.

Francis reminds me somewhat of John Paul, who died less than 2 months into his papacy. A man of the people, someone the Church really needs right now.

We need to elect a president like this. Simple, humble and honest. Then, elect a congress with the understanding of others and the struggles we have, working or nonworking, caring for others and not for themselves. But, you can't sell that to the American public as they no longer have any ideals or morality.

I'm glad some liberals like him. Maybe they'll like his strong support of Church teaching on marriage and sexuality too.
