Tevlin: Thank you, dear, for 25 years of everlasting memories

I am making an exception and writing about my wife because she is the most important topic in the world today, or any day for that matter. If you don’t go for that kind of thing you might want to move along.

What a gift to read this essay tucked among the more difficult news stories of the day. Thank you, Mr. Tevlin! I can relate, as my own wife is the most important topic in my world too. We're half as far along as you two (13 years) and I have great hope that by the time we mark 25 years, we'll have a marriage that is legal in Minnesota and the United States. Here's to love and commitment.

I have tears in my eyes. My husband and I have been married 38 years, which doesn't seem possible. Mr Tevlin, your wife sounds like a wonderful person. Anne, I share your hope, but hope that it is sooner then your 25th anniversary.

Everybody should have someone to enjoy that much time with, my wife and I just pasted 35 years. She still gets me finishing my stupid jokes with a smile.

I have never posted anything in agreement with anything you have written, but here we have common ground. My beautiful bride and I have been married for 45 years, and I love her more now than ever. Good job Jon.
