The wild is 6 points from last place in the western conference and tied for the lowest scoring team in the league...lets save the rosé petals eh? Objects in the mirror are closer than they appear.

Should be a great test for the Wild tonight. The Ducks are physical and talented. A win would be huge for this team right now. Yes, the fourth line deserves a lot of credit, they are playing great! People kept saying Rupp was a punching bag? He has looked tougher than a box of nails to me! Konopka is just itching to get into one too. Great patience. Come on boyz! Big game tonight!

I agree with Russo's assessment of the team. It's clearly playing better now than at the beginning of the season. It's important now for the team to keep its foot on the gas and avoid the injuries that killed their chances last season. Put it this way; if PMB plays another game in a Wild sweater, something is wrong.

This current Wild roster is living up to some of the earlier expectations. There IS a difference in the way they look on the ice now compared with the start of the season. For those fans that are a bit impatient, just remember it is the team that gets hot at the back of the season that runs the longest in the playoffs not the one that sprints out of the starting gate. This Wild team is beginning to get exciting.

Anyone notice the absence of Heatley's name? As I've said before, he's become a liability.

I suppose you would like it better if Heatley acted like Percy Harvin. Instead he's playing the role that's asked of him and not whining about it. All the negative stuff you've heard about Heatley is totally false. He's a great team player and team mate.

It is niice to see the Wild gaining points but they are still a player or two away from contending. If you watch Heatley play and also notice that any line he has played on has done BETTER when Heatley is moved off the line and replaced with someone else, you would realize he is a liablility. I think the Wild should try to dump him to someone else and try to get a # 3 or 4 defenseman. Stoner may be a nice guy but he can not play at the NHL level. He turns over the puck as much as Heatley and he regularly gets beat to the outside. Just not an NHLer.

1scotty2 he should be, when he's making 7mil a year, for trodding around with cement skates and waiting in front of the net for someone else to shoot.. I could score goals like that too.....

Pazaluna, I think you're missing the trend. has the wild 7th in their power rankings. The team was new, had no training camp, and is coming together. That's something you can't quantify but will show results in the future.

Russo - who do we talk to about having you replace Mr. Greenlay?
