The auto show is the closest I'll get to a new car in this economy.

It's not as exciting as it used to be. Cars have lost a lot of individuality. Shared platforms and manufacturing shortcuts have scrambled all the models. It started with the Cadilac Cimeron and has gotten worse. Sad, but car guys and gals have been eclipsed by the bean counters.

If not for the Scion test drive and the Jeep ride, this would be a waste of money. Less cars, floor space filled by Star Tribune Entertainment and K102 entertainment sections. Nissan disappoints again by only having 1 new design pathfinder and no GTR or 2 door Altima coupe. Chevy only brings 1 vette all locked up. Previous years you could sit in them. So not impressed.
