Hats off to Spielman for getting more than most thought. Percy has all-pro talent but is also a prima donna. Sorry to see his talent leave but glad to see the punk side of him gone.

Can't blame him , He new the QB sucks here and he disliked Minnesota and he wants a ring! Go Percy!

I think trading Ponder for just Seattle's 7th round pick, would of benefited the Vikings more than this deal. No, I'm not kidding either.

Get Wallace and draft a receiver in the first round and this trade of Percy will be worth it. We would have had to pay Percy big bucks to keep him anyway. Draft a stud linebacker with our other first round pick. Who knows, maybe Ponder is glad to get rid of Percy. We did win the final four games last year without #12!!

Percy is a very talented, tough but tempermental player who will give his all on the field and give his coaches/management a headache. Their is an abundance of top receivers in this years draft so the Vikes will get a bigger target with speed for Ponder while being able to pick up another first rounder for the defense too. The 7th rounder is a throw in but a mid-rounder next year is a plus so the trade is all good. Good for Percy to get a fresh start and good for the Vikes as they sgould get 2 or more good starters for 1 very good but tempermental player. The 7th and/or mid rounder can always be used to bump up in the draft this year also. Good be a coup for the Vikes if they get the right guys here !

I knew he was going to be traded because you just don't make a habit of locking heads with the head coach. I would have rather seen multiple mid-round picks but that 25th pick should be a good pick. The 23rd and 25th picks now gives us one of the stronger positions in the first round since the talent in the first round is very solid but not spectacular at the very top of the first round.

Our headache is now Seattle's!

Ponder couldn't hit him anyway, so this won't matter. The Vikings need some really slow receivers, who never run farther than 10 yards down field, and can catch balls thrown five yards behind them or five feet over their heads. Good luck to Percy.
