I think Congress needs ethics classes--this one is a no-brainier.

Going to the toilet may be part of his official duties. Soliciting sex from an undercover officer probably doesn't.

This is a classic example of what's wrong with politics today. This clown wants to have his cake and eat it too. As for the ethics charge his defense is it was "purely personal", for the criminal charge it was "part of his official duties". Don't know how anyone could claim that soliciting sex was part of their official duties....not even Amy Koch tried that excuse.

Typical family moral values hypocrite. When will people wake up that they are being manipulated by these lies.

His public life is over long ago so he probably figures he has nothing to lose by taking the sleazy route. If he gets reprimanded at this stage what does he care?

I just visited the Larry Craig Memorial restroom at MSP. There's no plaque or anything. But seriously, you'd think this guy would have even the least bit of a qualm about openly embezzling campaign funds like this. Of course, he spent $217,000 rather than just paying a $200 ticket, shutting up, and going away. So he seems to think he has the right to do anything if he wants to, and spends enough money.

There were other flights available there was no reason for him to stop in minneapolis. he needs to be held accountable
