Come on folks, this isn't about the sequester, the budget cuts or the Blue Angels. This is about taking away all the enjoyable activities that the government supplies so , we the people, write our elected officials to get the money to let us have and see what we want, like the Blue Angels, and get rid of any spending cuts that we /Congress doesn't like. What you aren't seeing is the reduction in expenses where they really need to be - less aircraft carriers, submarines and airplanes, medicare reductions, social security solvency. If we lowered the social security tax and made everyone pay regardless of income, we could solve that financial problem. But Why do you think the social security tax has a limit? Protecting the rich. Our financially inebriated officials are taking away the things we want to continue on with our tax dollars - White House tours, government air show participants (Blue Angels), air traffic controllers, highway construction; all the items you thought our government happily funded. But these things do not allow your Senators or Congressmen to get the results they want for THEMSELVES. This sequester is all about them - NOT us. Have you ever heard of a Senator leaving office and getting a job as an air traffic controller, or a highway department official? Heck no. They go into military consulting, pharmacuticle consulting, congressional consulting. That's where the big bucks are for them and only them. So if Congress angers the American public by taking away the expected government programs that we take for granted, this sequester may stop and we'll be able to see our beloved Blue Angels again. If not, what will they do next, turn off traffic lights to save on the electric bill?

Good, it's about time the military, and gov't in general stopped wasting tax dollars for these things (sponsoring stock car racing, U.S. Postal service sponsoring a cycling team like they did with Lance Armstrong, etc) This type of wasteful military related spending goes beyond Dwight Eisenhower's prediction of the "Military industrial complex", and the unstoppable (and unsustainable) monster that military spending has become. I am not anti gov't, but this sequester thing, might be the best thing to happen to this country in this generation.

The precision flying that is demonstrated by these teams shows not only the dedication of the craft to our friends. But should also be seen as a warning to our enemies.
