We were in Bemidji for both games. Glad to see the Gophers play well and end up with the sweep. Great arena, lots of Gopher fans showed up. Let's hope for a repeat weekend.

It's good to see the Gophers get a part of the regular season championship trophy for their last year in the WCHA. But I'm curious as to where Wisconsin ended up. I'm not sure, but it's in back of the Gophers. Hahaha!

Bet Sid doesn't mention this at all of the sport huddle with Dave Ohhhhhno/Mona. Get with it Sir Sidney...you've been in Minnesota how long and still diss hockey? IT'S THE STATE OF HOCKEY SID NOT BASKETBALL OR FOOTBALL!

Shame on the WCHA for allowing Lucia to pull that low class stunt. There was no way the gophers could win the cup outright, that cup should have been in Madison with the huskies. I hope this curses them to a Final 5 flame out and an early exit in the NCAA. That kind of elitist, entitled behavior should come with some, I hope natural, consequences.

Lucia still hasn't convinced he is on the top of his game. He let our hockey program go down for several years, and it only arose last year. We will see, now, won't we, in the WCHA playoffs and NCAA playoffs.

Any body that is critical of the Gophers for winning and displaying the cup after SCS choked is no reason for the Gophers to not have the cup available since Minnesota had it in their possession already for winning it out right last year. It rightfully still belongs with the Gophers since nobody really took it away from them. I agree its now a shared cup so whats the big deal? They will both get to put their hands on it. Gophers will win next week hands down on the much bigger ice sheet where the Beavers won't be able to bottle up the nuetral zone. The Gophers at home will be tough to beat. Wilcox is playing at his best right now and does not give up any easy goals. Gophers PP is back on track so will make other teams pay. Go Gophs!!!!

From this point on, we can not have a team that comes out and plays one game lethargically like they have for almost every series this year. Time to pick it up and treat every game as the last game of the season. If they decide to take a game off, their post season will be short lived.
