NASHVILLE – Pierre-Marc Bouchard has missed a lot of hockey the past four years — 160 games, to be exact — but he is not accustomed to being a healthy scratch.

Like Suter said "hockey is a business", therefore as much as we all like PMB, it is time to trade him for whatever you can get. Speaking of Coach Yeo decision making, it's time quit treating the very likeable Koivu like a top line player. Tonight he must have mishandled/fanned on the puck at least 4-5 times and lost the puck as he lost his footing about 2 times. Koivu is a liabiliy on the power play!! Glad they got 2 points agaist the Preds! Win tomorrow!!! Go Wild!!!

Butchy needs to look in the mirror as to why he's scratched. IMO, Yeo and Fletcher have given plenty him almost too many chances, on multiple lines, and power play units, only to see him be invisible every night. He should sit tomorrow night too.

He has a lot of, ummmm, nerve. How can you be totally unproductive and disengaged game after game and whine about having to sit? Looks to me like your career is over Mr PMB. YOu spend most of your shift making sure you dont get hit. You are no where close to the player you were pre concussion. To bad too, we sure could of used you this year.

PMB, I can appreciate the not happy part about being scratched, who wouldn't be? But the fact is that he hasn't been effective when out there. Sadly, it's not his fault either, I think it's clear that the head injuries have effected his game and that he appears at least a bit tentative at times about diving into high traffic areas or into physical situations. Worse yet is that this season will impact his ability to get another contract after this one expires. This guy had a remarkable set of hands when he first got here, and now it looks like he is on the possible tailend of his career because he sacrificed for our club....

PMB should suck it up. He is paid more than $4mm per year, very seldom plays for more than half a season and only plays between the tops of the circles. He gives the puck away when anybody gets close to him and won't go into a corner to contest the puck. He has 5 points in 20 games. He would be a star in a non-checking league. He has no trade value. He is the most overpaid player in the league. He should be eternally grateful for winning the lottery on his gift contract from Risebrough.

I give Yeo credit for not giving in to the politics and putting what he thinks is the best lineup every night. I really liked last nights lines!

Yeo is right on this one. The trouble is, he's too soft on these decisions. No doubt Butch will be back in tonight, at the expense of someone else. No matter how much some of us may like PMB, he's now become someone "in the way." He's clogging up the pipeline for players that can and are often more effective. Sad to think that Larsson is as capable as Coyle, Zucker, or Granlund, and yet, simply because of numbers, he's stuck in Houston. The irony of all this is that for years we've been in a situation where PMB's absence from the line-up has caused us headaches (and hefty cap hits), and now he's the odd man out. And if given a choice, I, for one, would rather see those minutes dedicated to Granlund's development than to another couple months of the PMB Saga. Since he's not much trade bait at present, perhaps the best thing to do is just release him and let him try to sign on with another team. Then we can move forward, because this team's probably a better team with him out of the line-up. Sad but true at this stage.

@rjr2205 Koivu had a tough game. Everyone has one once in a while.
