April 22 is the first day of the Vikings offseason workouts at Winter Park and rest assured Percy Harvin won’t be there.

Just like we can "rest assured" that Mase, Brew and Chilly would find new HCing jobs in no time....

A basketball practice facility.....yeah right, exactly what they need. Look at what the new football stadium did for the football team. I like sports but the spending at the U has to stop. Accept who you are and quit throwing good money after bad.

I still read Sid, but I skip the Gopher basketball comments. Just can't take it anymore.

"now one of the sites being talked about for the basketball facility and other new ones is the current site for the outdoor track behind the Bierman Building and the Gibson-Nagurski Football Complex."-----I hope they're building new dorms in that area, the nicest practice facility in the world won't attract players if they have to walk a half mile in below-freezing temps to get there....

If he doesn't want to play for the Vikings then trade him. Overall the Vikings have been drafting well so if they trade Harvin I would like to see the deal made for multiple mid-round and lower round picks. As an example, recent 6th round picks have gotten us John Sullivan, Joe Webb, and Blair Walsh. Getting one 1st or one 2nd would likely not be a good deal for Harvin when looking at Harvin's overall talent. I don't know what coaching staffs would be interested in Harvin due to his tendency to lock horns with head coaches and cause a distraction but the 49ers have 15 or 16 picks and most are mid-round and low-round picks. A player like Harvin could also make their offense very dangerous which in turn is the only reason you go after Harvin anyway.

The Vikes might deal with S.F. to get the price up for Percy but it is not likely they will trade him there unless no one else will come close to what S.F. is willing to offer. It would not look good to have Percy come back to haunt the Vikes and it could easily happen with S.F.

I'd like to see him traded to New England -- out of the NFC, and he'd not likely pull his shenanigan's with Belichick. He probably wouldn't last long there either if every other week he had a headache.

If Ponder is the starting QB, I would want to be traded as well. UGHH!!

If it between Ponder and Harvin; I choose Harvin.

If Percy Harvin wants to ruin his NFL legacy with a "poor me" attitude, so be it but do not give in to him. The Vikings have all the power for the next three years and there is no reason for them to do anything but fullfill the terms of his contract and then use their right to franchise him.
