The Wolves are moving again toward a lottery pick, and quite a few college players would satisfy the Wolves’ need for a big guard who’s a skilled shooter.

'he (McLemore) has not played well down the stretch leading into the postseason.' Guy only had 36 last game. Has the freshman scoring record at Kansas of all places. Would be a perfect fit for the Wolves.

Ask the Wolves who they do not want and draft and keep that guy.

The Wolves won't have 2 picks in the draft this year. They will have one. The lower of their first round picks goes to the Suns as part of the Wes Johnson deal. Otto Porter is also a good name to follow. He is a small forward, but he looks like he is going to be a solid wing player in the NBA. Neither AK or Budinger are locks to be with the team next year. They will both be free agents. It's likely AK picks up his option, but how long will his future be with the team beyond next year? As for trading the pick, I don't really like it. If you hit on a pick in the 1st round, you have a good player on a great contract. Vets take up a lot of cap space and the Wolves will have AK, Love and likely Pek all making 10 million a year. Although I like Budinger, the Wolves basically gave away their 1st round pick last year for nothing since he has barely played this year and he is soon to be a free agent.
