I hope Brunansky has grown up. He was swearing, rude and cocky to my son before an Angles game 30 years ago and we will never forget it! lol That was also the day we watched Blyleven demand a twenty for a radio interview... innocence lost!

I had to look it up in Wikipedia to get the date, but I'll never forget being at the Dome with my mom and dad to see Bruno it an in-the-park grand slam - July 19, 1982. It's only been done 40 times in the majors since 1950.

Its great to finally see one of our coaches actually doing their job correctly - teaching, mentoring, making smart adjustments, encouraging our players to drive the ball and play to their strengths. And as far as I have seen this spring training, our estimated starting batting lineup has been hitting extremely well, Morneau especially. Totally stoked!

Also great that the Twins finally have a real hitting coach at the major league level. Still odd that slugs like Bill Smith, Vavra and Ullger remain employed though. A normal business would never keep such inept employees on the payroll.

I didn't read the article because I was too busy buying tickets to the Chanhassen Dinner Theater. Hopefully the Twins can be saying "Bye Bye Birdie" to the strikeouts and "Hello My Baby" to more HRs this year.

Bruno will bring out the best in these guys.... He was a quality player who always gave his all while with the Twins.......A GAMER.....
