Another garbage story from the anti-gun press. There seems to be no limits that Obama's minions will go to sell the disarming of good citizens.

This was a period when violent crimes were almost unheard of and people didn’t lock their homes or cars. People respected the police and followed their directions as they believed that they could protect them against bad people. It is funny to see the same media that has done everything they could think of over the past 35 years to drag his name thru the mud, now speak kindly about him because he supported gun control at one time. Sort of shows how low you will go to push your anti-gun agenda. Then you wonder why your standing with the American public continues to drop each year. I don’t dial 911 and pray.

Nixon, a Republican, opened trade with a communist countryn(China), and pushed for the Clean Air Act and a bunch of other stuff that is now ironically thought to be extreme left positions. Speaks volumes of just how far right our country has drifted over the last 40 years.

I wouldn't go that far, but banning high capacity magazines and assault weapons, and making background checks for all gun purchases mandatory, would be a great start.

It's a great idea to ban economical guns. That way poor people won't be able to acquire something to defend themselves with.
