As peachy as this piece makes you feel, the last line brings you back into reality. Labor participation rate is at it's lowest level in 32 years. It's good to see some decent hiring again though.

I like how they say the participation rate is at a current economic low. Maybe try at a 32 year low, not since Regan's second year as President.

36 months of steady reduction in the unemployment rate... 36 months of new job growth... 36 months of "it is temporary and the unemployment rate will turn up once the false numbers are adjusted"... 36 months of "it's people given up looking for work" (they are included in the marginal rate, which has also gone down for at least as long)... It can all only mean one thing -- those claiming it was fake finally stopped complaining that it was the government's fault, and went out and FINALLY got a job.

Although the addition of 236,000 jobs in the US is positive, the US continues to underperform its neighbor, Canada, in job creation. Canada's net employment increased by 51,000 in February. Considering that the US population is 9.2 times that of Canada, Canada's increase would be equivalent to an increase of 469,000 jobs for the US. It cannot be surprising that, for the first time in history, more Americans emigrated to Canada in 2012 than vice-versa. Many ambitious Americans are emigrating for economic reasons.

We need to look at the total jobs lost instead of these phony numbers.

7.7 percent unemployment. What is interesting is December 2008 unemployment was 7.3 percent. Obama is still working on the negative when it comes to jobs.
