This would be unfortunate. The dems are just getting the country back on a positive track.

We can't wait for another 4 years to get the country on a positive track. Tax and spend is not creating jobs in this country, and America is quicky becoming a second rate nation under the rule of the Democrats. Obama and the Democrat controlled Senate are a joke. They haven't even submitted a budget in over 4 years! That's not what I call leadership.

OMG...wouldn't it be a crying shame for the annointed one to not have Prince Harry carrying his water for him anymore? Maybe the Senate would actually pass a budget if we could get the true "Party of No" out of the way!!

There is plenty of hate out there so the regressives can't be under estimated but through the loss of more tea people candidates and a reestablishment of the conscience of the middle class, I say democrats gain seats. The country is sick of the list of people and things that the regressives blame all things on. What has it been the last political cycle , it's been the poor, the old ,the unions, the government workers , the Moslem's , the gays , the Mexicans, the teachers, the government, the democrats, the 47%. I'm sure I've missed many but you get the drift.

Maybe they will, maybe they won't. Either way they will have Hillary to contend with....and she's tougher than the whole bunch of them!

It's a pretty safe bet to assume that the party not in the White House gains congressional seats during off-presidential year elections. But it is not which party, but which PHILOSOPHY wins that matters. There isn't a dime's worth of difference between mainstream Republicans and Mainstream Democrats. You see a lot of middle-of-the-road Republicans cozying up like mad to the Tea Party elements in their state and there's a good reason for this. Despite the fervent wishes of the left, the Tea Party stands to gain more than Dems OR Repubs in 2014.

Positive track? Record numbers on food stamps, $4 gasoline, trillion dollar annual deficits despite unprecedented confiscation of income, perpetual 8% unemployment, 9 million on SSDI, $60 trillion in unfunded entitletment responsibilities, no budget from the Senate in last 4 years, Miltant islam now in control most of the Middle East, N Korea threatening to nuke us daily, and a President advocating drone murders of American citizens on American soil between his Beyonce' parties? I think we could do a little better than this.
