Negotiations there might offer a template to solve differences between the oil industry and environmentalists.

Those that don't support fracking should pay three times as much for heat as the non-frackers. That seems fracking fair to me!

"Talks in Illinois on strict fracking rules could be a model for nation"...They might as well be the "model" for the nation. Illinois politics is the "model" for the nation under the current regime!

This is all predicated on water being used for fracking. Other things can be used to fracture the rock including liquified petroleum gas itself which can be recycled. The fact that the drillers agreed to all these provisions tells me they are not the least bit worried about the opponents fears ever being realized. IOW their fears are irrational.
